The Founding Penthouse, London 2025

Lara was commissioned by Conran & Partners to create three bespoke woven artworks for the penthouse apartment at The Founding, part of British Land’s Canada Water development.

Responding to the building’s structural language, the works translate key architectural elements into tactile compositions. Geometric forms meet the softness of wool and mohair, contrasted with steel finishes. The series of works are titled Quite Attached, referencing both the physical, layered construction of the pieces and the time-intensive, emotional investment behind their making.
