The Founding Penthouse, London 2025
Lara was commissioned by Conran & Partners to create three bespoke woven artworks for the penthouse apartment at The Founding, part of British Land’s Canada Water development.
Responding to the building’s structural language, the works translate key architectural elements into tactile compositions. Geometric forms meet the softness of wool and mohair, contrasted with steel finishes. The series of works are titled Quite Attached, referencing both the physical, layered construction of the pieces and the time-intensive, emotional investment behind their making.

A bespoke handwoven headboard in lambswool, organic cotton and Donegal tweed, created for a private client in London. Paired with a custom iron bed frame and upholstery by The Forge, Somerset.
Private Residence, Iceland 2025
A selection of bespoke throws and blankets for a private residence in Iceland. Crafted in the London studio, the throws were handwoven in a luxurious blend of natural fibres. Each throw features hem stitched edges and larger custom sizes were achieved through carefully hand stitched seams.

Norton Folgate, London 2024
Lara was commissioned by Universal Design Studio to create a series of bespoke handwoven curtains and artworks for British Land’s Norton Folgate development in Spitalfields, London.
Developed specifically for 15 Norton Folgate, the works respond to the site’s layered history - once home to a community of creatives and the historic Huguenot silk weavers. Drawing on her prior research into this topic, Lara reinterpreted elements of historic silk-weaving techniques through a contemporary lens. Subtle details, including deliberately slashed threads, reference the recorded stories and material language of the original weavers.
Alongside the finished curtains, a selection of samples and prototypes are framed and installed throughout the space, offering insight into the research and making behind the final pieces.

A limited-edition fabric created in collaboration with renowned interior designer Rose Uniacke, inspired by the colours and textures of her permanent fabric collection. Handwoven in the studio using a considered blend of mohair, wool, silk and organic cotton.
